Service scope
CounselR supports patient records, session planning, rich-text notes, document feedback, invoices, manually recorded payments and practice administration. It is not an emergency service, clinical provider, payment processor, insurer or substitute for professional judgement.
The public preview is illustrative. Public self-booking, telehealth and a patient portal are not included in this release. Direct mailbox connections are paused. Availability of a feature is not a guarantee of clinical suitability or regulatory compliance.
Access and professional responsibility
Use only an account authorised by the practice owner. Protect your sign-in, shared devices and downloaded files. Do not share credentials or access another practice’s information. Owners are responsible for the access they grant and for promptly removing permissions when someone leaves.
Users remain responsible for the accuracy of notes, invoices, reports and recipient details, the lawfulness of processing, clinical decisions and any necessary patient or guardian permissions. Review every export before using or sharing it.
Records and intellectual property
The practice retains its rights in the records it provides, subject to the rights of patients and other people. Uploading information does not transfer ownership to CounselR. Platform design, software and branding may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Do not misuse them or represent yourself as CounselR without authority.
Keep suitable exports and backups in accordance with your professional obligations. The export function is not a managed backup service or a guarantee that a damaged or incomplete archive can be recovered.
Commercial arrangements and changes
There is no public checkout or automatic subscription on this page. Pricing, invoicing, cancellation, refunds, service levels and support arrangements must be agreed directly in writing before a paid service begins. The landing page does not promise a free trial or fixed price.
Maintenance and feature changes may affect availability. No uptime or response-time commitment is stated in this draft. A signed service agreement should set the relevant commitments and precedence.
Disputes and legal review
Raise questions or concerns with support@counselr.co.za. These draft terms do not waive statutory consumer or privacy rights. Liability, governing law, dispute process and the operator’s legal particulars require review in the final service agreement; no blanket exclusion of responsibility is asserted here.
